Born to Chinese parents in Hampstead, London in 1939, writer, lecturer, artist and photographer Grace Lau discusses her incredible – and often surprising – artistic career, taking us on the “Hippy Trail” of the ‘sixties, where she started taking pictures with her much-loved 35-mm Nikon camera, to the underground sadomasochism world of ‘80’s London, to turning colonialism on its head…and to a 6ft long coffin in her back garden in Hastings! Now 84, Grace has no immediate plans to retire.
